Our Lord, we have wronged our souls: if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we shall be among the lost. (7:23) Our Lord, pour patience upon us, and cause us to die in a state of submission to You. (7:126) You are our Protector. Forgive us, therefore, and have mercy on us, for You are the best of those who forgive. Grant us good things, both in this life and in the hereafter. To You alone we turn.
