Being sincere means abstaining from what is forbidden Zayd ibn Arqam records the Prophet as saying: “Whoever says with sincerity that there is no god save God shall enter Paradise.” When asked what this sincerity was, he replied, “Let his very oath bar him from what God has forbidden.” (AL-TARGHEEB WA AL-TARHEEB)
