Intense Love Of God

INTENSE LOVE OF GOD When man discovers that God created him, gave him a life support system and arranged for his guidance through prophets, then his heart overflows with love for and gratitude to God. T he second chapter of the Quran states that believers are “those who love God most.” (2:165) According to this verse, the sign of a true believer is his capacity for intense love for God. The truth is that love is produced within man as a response. When man discovers God, his greatest benefactor, his heart is filled with a vast ocean of love. This intense love by its nature is the result of discovery. It is not just the carrying out of a command.
