The tree, for instance, does not suddenly shoot up to a hundred feet as if by magic; it grows up slowly, stage by stage, in due course of time. This is true of each and every organism. And man should also go through this process. He should avoid trying to proceed by gargantuan steps, and should plan to achieve his objectives in a gradual and evolutionary manner.
