light on it, we are encouraged to understand those Quranic hints in the light of such discoveries. This is exactly what is meant in the hadith: “Its wonders will never cease.”(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith No. 2906) In other words, the wonders of the Quran will never end. This hadith predicts that in the future, scientific discoveries will continue to reveal the deeper meanings of the Quran. In this way, the excellence of the Quran will continue to be revealed, right up to the Day of Judgment. The Example of Pairs In the Quran, it is stated: “and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect.” (51:49) This verse highlights an observable aspect of the world today, encouraging people to reflect and learn a lesson from it. The Quran refers to this phenomenon using the word “pairs” (zaujain). Commentators in earlier times have explained the term pairs in various ways. All these interpretations provide valuable insight. However, when we analyze this verse in light of modern scientific discoveries, it offers a renewed sense of certainty. According to the Quran, it acts as a reason for strengthening one’s faith (48:4). Modern research has shown that the principle of pairing, which we observe in humans, also applies to everything in the universe. Nothing is complete on its own; it becomes complete only when combined with its pair.
