Those Who Find Guidance

English book, PDF p. 24

By Maulana Wahiduddin Khan

Yunus, 10:6 Do you not see how God compares a good word to a good tree? Its root is firm and its branches are in the sky, it yields its fruit each season with its Lord’s permission—God makes such comparisons for people, in order that they may take heed—but an evil word is like an evil tree torn out of the earth; it has no foothold. Ibrahim, 14:24-26 Do not walk proudly on the earth. You cannot cleave the earth, nor can you rival the mountains in height. Al-Isra', 17:37 He who fears God shall be forgiven his sins and richly rewarded. Al-Talaq, 65:5 God does not burden any person with more than He has given him. God will soon bring about ease after hardship. Al-Talaq, 65:7 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds. Al-Muddaththir, 74:38 God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. Al-Muddaththir, 74:31 Theirs shall be gardens and vineyards, and young maidens of equal age, and overflowing cups. There they shall not hear any idle talk, or any untruth: all this will be a recompense, a gift, that will suffice them, from your Lord. Al-Naba', 78:32-34 O man, having striven hard towards your Lord, you shall meet Him. Al-Inshiqaq, 84:6 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. Al-A'la, 87:8 So, surely with every hardship there is ease.
