The Prophetic Method

THE PROPHETIC METHOD work. If we reserve our efforts for those areas in which we can operate effectively, God will help us in others where we can do nothing. But, on the other hand, if we leave the arena of action allotted to us and seek to operate in some other where we have been afforded no opportunities, it is as if we have tried to function not from our arena but from God’s. To try to usurp God in His work can only lead to His displeasure; it cannot earn us His succour.
