EMIGRATION—FROM MAKKAH TO MADINAH There were some engagements after the Conquest of Makkah, bringing the total number of military expeditions that the Prophet conducted up to eighty. But now that the Muslims had gained control of the capital of Arabia, it entailed only minor skirmishes before all of Arabia capitulated and accepted the Prophet as their leader.
