A ccording to a tradition, the Prophet of Islam once observed: “God is at the service of a person so long as he is at the service of his brother.” (Sahih Muslim 2699) The system of the present world has been created by God according to natural laws. This being so, it is not possible for one not to reap the consequences of his deeds. One aspect of this law is that when an individual helps other members of society by meeting their needs, a favourable atmosphere is produced in the whole environment.
