Foreword

According to Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, the Prophet said, ‘Whenever one of the faithful invokes blessings which involve no sin or the breaking up of a relationship, God is certain to grant one of three things. Either He gives the supplicant His Blessings in this world, or He keeps them for him in the world hereafter, or He saves him from some misfortune.’ His listener then said, ‘Now we shall invoke God’s blessings even more. ‘God’s blessings are boundless,’ replied the Prophet.
