1985 1 January 5 Broken homes caused by concept of individual freedom (56) Malik Saeed Hasan of Pakistan recently took a six-week trip to the United States. “Most young persons I came across,” he wrote on return, “white or black, were divorced. Divorces spring from a sense of individual liberty, which makes individuals unable to accept any form of interference in their lives.” (The Muslim, Islamabad, November 16, 1984).
