Man’s conscience rebels against evil

1985 8 August 9 Man’s conscience rebels against evil (107) A man in Kansas, U.S.A. entered a petrol station, went up to the confectionary counter and, pulling out a gun, told the attendant to empty the till. As he did so, he said to her: “Lady, I’m sorry.” Explaining that he was out of work, he told her to empty the contents of the cash register into a paper bag. But before the register was empty, he said he had enough. He then offered the attendant the rest of the money. “In the morning, I’m going to hate myself for this,” he said as he made good his getaway, with less than 100 dollars in his pocket.
