1986 6 June 18 Pride Precedes a fall (68) The Prophet had a she-camel named Adhba. No one would let their camel walk ahead of it. One day a desert-dweller, riding on a small she-camel, came along and rode in front of the Prophet. When the Prophet realized that this was not to the liking of his companions, he said: “God has taken upon Himself to bring low anything which raises itself up in the world.” (Bukhari)
