The fine sensitivity taught by Islam

1989 12 December 22 The fine sensitivity taught by Islam (52) Abdullah ibn Abbas relates how a man laid a goat on its side preparatory to slaughtering it, then started sharpening his knife. Noticing this, the Prophet asked, “Are you bent on prolonging its agony? You should have sharpened your knife first, before you laid it down on its side.”
