The event aimed to highlight Islam the religion of peace and to elucidate the peaceful policies of Prophet Muhammad. The session included both basic and serious theological questions. Guided by the CPS mission to use opportunities for building harmony and understanding rather than fostering hate and debates, the programme allowed participants to engage openly. They appreciated the non-confrontational presentation of ideas, which gave them the freedom to express their thoughts. After the discussion, participants were gifted literature in English on the Quran, the life of the Prophet, and peace. Mr John, a U.S. citizen, staying in Chennai used to interact with the Chennai team for the past couple of years. He had been doing very meaningful dialogues with us for the last couple of years. It was through his efforts that this programme was organized.
