He was left speechless H. T. Correspondent New Delhi, February, 19 - Caught by the camera!

A three-wheeler scooter-rickshaw driver was left without an excuse when a video tape-recording of his movements was shown to him a few days ago. The sub-inspector controlling traffic with the newly-installed closed circuit television cameras spotted on his monitor a TSR driver parking his vehicle at the "No Parking" place at one of the crossings. He made announcements over the public- address system, but the driver would not listen. The SI then sent a policeman to challan the driver. The driver, protesting that he had parked his vehicle just for a minute to drop a passenger, came over to the Central Control Room to meet the SI. The SI after listening to his arguments, showed him the video tape-recording of what all he had been doing since the time he parked his vehicle. When the driver saw himself loitering about, talking with his friends, all picturised clearly on the screen, he was left speechless. The Hindustan Times, February 20, 1980
