so many “Al-Risala angel” (and interacting with some of them)was a hugely enriching experience. Yet again, the importance of discovering Allah and sharing the discovery with people around was driven home to us. We got to learn that dawah is not just about delivering the Quran and other material to the madu, it's about having true love and deep sympathy in your heart for them as well as praying for them. Any negligence in this regard would be at the cost of Jannah, the ultimate cost indeed. And the price to pay for meaningful dawah work is to change one's lifestyle, behavior and character. Another very important thing we learnt was that one has to discover the starting point to do dawah work and start with what is possible. The dai can't afford to wait any longer as the alarm of qayamat has already been sounded. Taleef-e-qalb of the madu is of the utmost importance. There is no limit to it. One has to be prepared to go to great lengths to please the madu and make a place in their heart. The da‘is work may appear difficult but it can be made easy with dua and tawakkul. When the Maulana told us that he hoped we were the Ikhwan-e-Rasul (brothers of the messenger) mentioned in a hadith we couldn’t but feel thrilled and exhiliarated. (Anwar Imam Ghazali, Patna, Bihar)
• As far my impressions of Da‘wah meet 2010 is concerned, I would say I fail to find words for it. Ever since I was first introduced to Maulana’s literature in 1976, it has always served as a great source of inspiration and motivation. His writing awakened me to the greater purpose of my own life: Da‘wah work. It has become my primary mission and one that I wish to continue to work for tirelessly for the rest of my life. However, no matter how much self-motivation we may have, we all need a battery charge now and then. The Da‘wah Meet provided this recharge for me. Listening to Maulana’s words, and also meeting and hearing from so many others who are engaged in this work in India and around the world, provided me with new motivation and reinvigorated the Da‘wah. The Prophet mentioned that towards the end of time, there will emerge a group known as the “Ikhwan-e-Rasul” that will do this work. It is my sincere hope that those engaged in this work under Maulana’s leadership can become eligible to be part of that group that the Prophet spoke of so highly. (Khaja Kaleemuddin, USA)
