Al-Quran Mission

The Quran is the only preserved text of the divine message for the guidance of mankind. Every book has its objective and the objective of the Quran is to make man aware of the Creation plan of God. That is, to tell man why God created this world; what the purpose is of settling man on earth; what is required from man in his pre-death life span, and what he is going to confront after death. The purpose of the Quran is to make man aware of this reality, thus serving to guide man on his entire journey through life into the after-life. The Prophet of Islam observed that, before Doomsday, the Word of God would enter all homes, big or small. According to the divine plan, it is, therefore, destined that God's Word will reach all mankind, so that all human beings may become aware before the onset of Doomsday as to what God's creation plan was for man. Al-Quran Mission is the realization of this hadith. This Mission was launched by Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, President of the Islamic Centre, at the India International Centre, in New Delhi, on April 2, 2010. Al-Quran Mission is the mission of Idkhal-e-Quran, i.e. to have the Quran enter every home. Idkhal-e-Quran is the responsibility of each and every Muslim. This duty has been assigned to the Muslims by the Prophet Muhammad himself: "Allah has sent me as His messenger for all mankind. So do not differ with one another. And spread in the land and communicate my message to people inhabiting other places besides Arabia." -Seerat Ibn Hisham 4/279 Since there is no other prophet who is to come to the world after the Prophet Muhammad, it is obligatory for all Muslims, as members of the Prophet's Ummah, to perform this task. Our very eligibility to the Ummat-e-Muhammadi depends upon it. In present times, the progress of communications has made it possible for the Word of God to reach all men and women inhabiting the globe. Al-Quran Mission has been launched for this very purpose. Our aim is to fulfill this prediction of God's Word entering all homes with the help of print and the electronic media until finally the Quran becomes a book known to all the people inhabiting this earth.
