just finished reading this entire book today and it took me only two weeks to finish it. Masha Allah! This wonderful book contains a wealth of wisdom from the Holy Quran and Hadith/Sunnah which verifies that Islam is Not a religion of violence and that it is actually a religion of peace. As sincere loyal Muslims, our main focus should be to educate and reform individuals by influencing them to grow intellectually and spiritually, and to bring about a revolution within their hearts and minds. Targeting a community as a whole to make a change will lead to failure. We must target the hearts and minds of individuals, which is the key to changing the world, which will eventually lead to a positive successful change in communities, countries, and Nations globally. We must avoid confrontation at all cost and focus on enforcing and maintaining the culture and ideology of peace. Nothing can be accomplished with violence which only leads to destruction of lives and resources. Peace is the only way to success. (Ms Francine, USA) ● I love this book (Woman between Islam and Western Society by Maulana Wahiduddin Khan). I just completed reading it. Took me two weeks to finish. This book provides wisdom and educational facts that verify that Islam has never declared that women are inferior to men, and that Islam only proves a fact that Allah has created females with a biological difference. Due to this biological difference, this is the reason why particular activities and types of jobs have been declared appropriate for males only and other jobs and activities for females only. God had chosen and blessed the Prophet Muhammad and his companions with the wisdom, talents, power, and gifts to bring about an intellectual revolution. This awesome book contains scientific facts from scholars that verify that the biological nature, that women are different from men in genes and thought process. Nature automatically cast females as the weaker, more delicate sex and men as the stronger sex. This explains why Nature makes different demands upon males and females as a convenient division of labor. Any deviation from Nature always results in punishment from Allah and mankind will always reap the terrible consequences violating the laws of nature! There are very few cases of divorce, children born out of wedlock, teen pregnancy, fornication, adultery, and AIDS in Muslim countries. These type of horrible problems are rare or non-existent in Muslim countries. But here in the United States of America, there is a terrible plague of billions of these immoral cases. This proves that Islam does not treat women as inferior, but grants women a high status in life while acknowledging her different biological makeup and that she is created equal with man, but must be treated differently (delicately) in regard to the division of labor, etc. (Ms Francine, USA)
