Besides providing necessary facilities, the Centre periodically holds seminars and lectures on various aspects of the Islamic culture and civilization. The Centre has also established special institutes for studies on the Holy Qur'an and the tradition of the Prophet (peace be on him). One of the outstanding achievements of the Centre is production of a television series in the Italian language on the condition of the Muslim immigrants in Italy focussing on the problems faced by the immigrants in, carrying out their religious and cultural obligations in the country. The Centre has also published 5000 copies of a book on Islamic worship and other subjects with Italian translation for the benefit of non-Arabs. The production of the book was financed by a prominent Italian Baron Bourna Nova who had embraced Islam a few years ago. The Islamic Centre in Rome has established an institution for teaching Arabic, English and Italian languages for the Muslims living in the various parts of the country and the centre also offers this facility to non-Muslims interested in acquiring the knowledge of Islamic Faith, culture and its civilization.
