I whole-heartedly welcome the starting of SADACHAR BHARATI to promote Values and Purity in Public Life and Rural Regeneration in commemoration of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation. For my own well-being, for the well-being of India and for the well- being of the world I hereby enrol myself as a SADACHAR SEVAK/SEVIKA and solemnly pledge:

* to build up the SADACHAR BHARATI to promote Values and Purity in Public Life and to eliminate corruption now rampant in every department of human activity in our Motherland, in many and varied forms, threatening to destroy the very foundation of our polity; * to do my very best to enlist as many SADACHAR SEVAKS/SEVIKAS as possible, particularly, from among the youth, to build up SADACHAR BHARATI as a constructive, vigorous, effective and all-embracing mass movement to promote Values and Purity in Public Life and to end corruption in every sphere of activity; to revitalise the rural economy by promoting rural industries and rural self- employment schemes and to enrich the rural life through institutions like Gram Sabhas, Panchayats and Voluntary Organisations. It shall be my conscientious effort to transform our 47-year-old SWATANTRA BHARAT into SADACHAR BHARAT before Independent India steps on to her Golden Jubilee in 1997, three years from now. I shall diligently and perseveringly do my patriotic and democratic duty to expeditiously achieve this goal, lest India of the dreams of Mahatma Gandhi and other stalwarts, architects and builders of Free India and the millions who suffered and sacrificed their lives to win SWARAJ should fade and disintegrate within our lifetime.
