7- ٹائمَس آف اِنڈیا (12 دسمبر 2008) میں صدر اسلامی مرکز کا ایک مضمون (A Religion of Peace) شائع ہوا۔ نیٹ کے ذریعے عالمی سطح پر بہت سے لوگوں نے اس مضمون کو پڑھا۔ تقریباً ایک سو لوگوں نے اس مضمون پر اپنے تاثرات لکھ کر روانہ کیے ۔ اُن میں سے چند تاثرات یہاں درج کیے جاتے ہیں : ● I fully agree that today the face of Islam is marred by the wrong ideology developed by a handful of Muslim scholars which has permeated into the psyche of Muslims in general. (Khaja Kaleemuddin, USA) ● It is high time that people like Maulana united to spread the true message of Islam, whatever it is and also explain what exactly ‘Jihad’ means, and whether it is relevant in today’s world. (Vijayalakshmi, Chennai) ● No sensible person, in my opinion, can disagree with Maulana’s views regarding ‘peace vs. terrorism’ and how to promote the former and combat the latter. His insightful article may be adopted as a “Peace Manifesto” for the 21st century by all the peace-activists of the world. It has convincingly shown the right way to make the UNESCO’s lofty vision: “Since the wars begin in the minds of men; it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed” (Anis Luqman Nadwi, UAE) ● I fully agree with Maulana; terrorism is an ideology and it has to be countered at an ideological level. We need people with missionary zeal to take this message of peace all across the world. (S. Fakhir Shah, Pakistan) ● The Maulana is an authority not only on the history of Islamic Civilisation but also well versed in Islamic Jurisprudence and I bow my head in reverence to this article.
