افسران اور وزراء بھی اس کانفرنس میں شریک تھے۔ میرے ساتھیوں نے ان تمام لوگوں کو قرآن کا انگریزی ترجمہ اور دعوتی لٹریچر دیا۔ لوگوں نے اس کو خوشی کے ساتھ قبول کیا۔ قطر کی اس کانفرنس میں تقریبا 15 پینل بنائے گئے تھے۔ ان کے عنوانات حسب ذیل ہیں: • Human Solidarity:

Religious Responses to the Financial Crisis • Responses in Defense of Religious Rights and Freedom • Religious Responses for Supporting Holy Sites • Round Table Discussion • Closing Remarks & Recommendations اس کانفرنس میں ڈنمارک کے ایک نومسلم سے ملاقات ہوئی۔ ان کا نام یہ تھا: Abdul-Wahid Anderson, Muslim council of Denmark انھوں نے بتایا کہ ڈنمارک میں کارٹون کا جو واقعہ پیش آیا تھا، اس سے لوگوں کے اندر تجسس پیدا ہوا اور لوگوں نے اسلام کا مطالعہ کرنا شروع کر دیا۔ اس کا نتیجہ یہ ہوا کہ کارٹون کے واقعے کے بعد ڈنمارک میں 75 افراد نے اسلام قبول کر لیا۔

میں نے بتایا کہ کارٹون کے واقعے کے بعد سعودی ٹی وی (عکاظ) کی ایک ٹیم ڈنمارک گئی تھی۔
